Our Inspiration

Ms. Harsha Parekh

Ms. Harsha Parekh (01.08.1943 – 17.03.2025) served as the Chair of the Bombay Community Public Trust (BCPT) from 1996, taking on the role to honor the vision of her uncle, the Late H.T. Parekh. Her strategic approach to grant-making supported initiatives that made a lasting difference, uplifting communities and driving meaningful change. With quiet strength and thoughtful leadership, Harshaben helped shape BCPT’s mission and identity. Harshaben leaves behind a legacy of compassion, purpose, and integrity—one that continues to inspire and guide our work every day.
